Edna Golandsky
is the leading exponent of the work of Dorothy Taubman, earning
wide acclaim throughout the United States and abroad with
lectures and master classes on the Taubman Approach. She is
a Juilliard School graduate, with Bachelor's and Master's
degrees.
Edna Golandsky, teacher
of international acclaim, is the co-founder and Associate Music Director
of the Taubman Institute. She has lectured and conducted master classes
at some of the most prestigious music institutions in the country, including
the Eastman School of Music, Yale University, the Curtis Institute of Music
and Oberlin Conservatory. She has given seminars in Korea, Canada, and
Israel. Ms. Golandsky has been the featured speaker at numerous music medicine
conferences. She is also an adjunct professor of piano at both Queens College
and Hunter College in New York City. She recently gave presentations at
the Miami Festival of Discovery, the MTNA Convention in Los Angeles, the
Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition, University of Colorado at
Boulder, Portland State University, Baylor University and the Chapelle
Historique du Bon-Pasteur in Montreal. |
